கலைகள்  கற்கவும்  கற்பனை  செய்யவும் காலம்

கடவாமல் கருத்தைத் திருத்தவும்

உலகிலே  நல்ல உண்மைகள்  பேசவும்

உனை  நினைக்கவும்  உறுதியாய் வாழவும்      (அருள)

Meaning:

Pallavi: Oh goddess mother angayaRkaNNi (beautiful fish-eyed one), please confer your grace on me.

Anupallavi: I need your grace so that I can lead a life with fame and fortune in this earth which will be glorious one.

CaraNam: I should learn the arts. I should acquire imagination, and continuously improve my thoughts. I should always speak the truth. I should always keep you in my thoughts and my life should be lived with determination.
